As the day started with sunshine and a breeze we decided to take a lovely walk along the coastal path. All along the coast and the beach especially we were parked up at had huge piles of red seaweed washed up by the coast. We got back in the Hymer and headed for the area around La Boule, as the area is a marshland areas Michael had told us to check out. As well as the natural marsh area’s there were cultivated marshes, which via signs and people working in them, we established that they were salt marshes that people drained and raked the salt up from. We ended up stopping the night further down the coast in Ponte de St Gildas.
